Juve managed to break the spell in the Allianz Stadium within ten minutes. Manuel Locatelli crossed, after which Vlahovic didn’t think twice and convincingly shot the ball behind goalkeeper Ivan Provedel: 1-0. La Vecchia Signora had only 34 percent possession of the ball before halftime, but still managed to double the margin. An attack seemed to be going wrong until Chiesa got the ball at his feet and found the short corner with a hard shot: 2-0.

Lazio also dominated possession in the second act and got rewarded for their work in the 64th minute.
