If it is up to Samuel Eto’o, André Onana will play in the shirt of Internazionale after this season, the former Inter player said in an interview with Tuttosport. Eto’o thinks it would be a good move for both parties if it were to reach an agreement. The Cameroonian is good friends with the Ajax goalkeeper and has provided him with advice several times in the past during his career.
Onana will run out of his contract with Ajax next summer and will therefore be allowed to talk to interested clubs from January 1, after he could not agree on a contract extension with the team from Amsterdam. Inter is frequently mentioned as the next destination, while Arsenal is also often associated with the Cameroonian goalkeeper. “I would recommend Inter to Onana and André, a keeper of a top club, to the club management of Inter,” says Eto’o.
Eto’o was interviewed by the above sports newspaper in connection with the squatter between Inter and Juventus. Although the former professional footballer is charmed by Onana, he can also enjoy the current goalkeeper of Inter: Samir Handanovic. “The Nerazzurri have an excellent team and a great trainer (Simone Inzaghi, ed.)”, Eto’o continues. “It seems that nothing is missing to keep winning titles.
