Ainsley Maitland-Niles comes Monday afternoon with a remarkable message via his Instagram Stories. The 24-year-old right winger calls on his club Arsenal to cooperate with a departure in the final phase of the transfer window. Everton is in the market to hire Maitland-Niles, but according to Fabrizio Romano there is no agreement yet.

“All I want is to go somewhere I’m wanted and where I’m going to play,” Maitland-Niles wrote in his Instagram story, followed by three crying emojis. Maitland-Niles has his sights fully set on a move to Everton and looks set to force a transfer with his departure. The Toffees are still in talks with Arsenal about a loan period with an option to buy.

Maitland-Niles, a child of Arsenal, never became a fixture at the Emirates Stadium after his debut in 2014. This season, he is on two official appearances as a substitute. In the second half of last season he played for West Bromwich Albion, which were relegated from the Premier League. Maitland-Niles would be the third player to move from Arsenal to Everton in recent years after Alex Iwobi and Theo Walcott. He is ahead of 123 official duels the Gunners, in which he produced 3 goals and 8 assists.
