Tijjani Noslin has started his adventure at Hellas Verona well, as Süleyman Öztürk, journalist on behalf of Football International. The 24-year-old from Amsterdam scored 4 goals and 2 assists in his first 14 games in Serie A and was included by Öztürk in his Team of the Week. Noslin gets a 9 for his performance against Fiorentina (2-1 win).

Fortuna Sittard received no less than 3 million euros last winter for Noslin, who signed with Hellas Verona until mid-2027. So far, this has proven to be an excellent choice for the winger, who played for the amateurs of DHSC Utrecht less than three years ago.

Noslin did Hellas Verona an important service last weekend by scoring in the home game against Fiorentina. With this, his club picked up three important points in the fight against relegation. Earlier this season, the right foot was already accurate against AC Milan, Atalanta and Juventus.

Öztürk enjoys following Noslin's development. “Such a transfer from Fortuna Sittard to Hellas Verona is side work for us, but for such a young person it is simply a big transfer. From Danny Buijs to Serie A, that is of course a huge step. This is a boy with a special story and special background, who not so long ago played football at a lower level.”

“On Sunday he caused a penalty and he scored a goal,” says Öztürk. “He has been really important in the hunt for survival in recent weeks. That's special for such a boy.”

Öztürk did not expect Noslin to impress so quickly at Hellas Verona. “I didn't like it in the Eredivisie. He is of course a player with certain qualities, but there is still a lot going wrong with Tijjani Noslin.”

Yet on Tuesday, Öztürk will mainly focus on what is going well. “He has depth, speed, scoring ability and in a certain way he gives a shit about the outside guard. He enjoys playing his matches there and now ensures that Hellas Verona remains active at the highest level. That is of course great to experience that in your first six months.”

The journalist thinks that Noslin can develop considerably in the coming years. “He is of the age to take some more steps. When you see where he comes from, it remains a special story. He also gets high marks in the Italian media, so this is someone who is really doing well at Hellas Verona,” concludes Öztürk.
