Klaas-Jan Huntelaar will participate in the youth training of De Graafschap in the coming period. “The attacker wants to orientate on a possible career as a trainer,” reports the club from the Kitchen Champion Division. Earlier this week it was announced that Huntelaar will also participate in the youth academy of Vitesse and later this year at Go Ahead Eagles.

The 38-year-old Huntelaar is no stranger to the club from Doetinchem. He went through a large part of the youth academy, before he left for PSV at the age of sixteen. “We are very happy that Klaas-Jan is now coming home and wants to take a look at our youth academy,” said head of youth academy Jefta Bresser on the club website. “I had Klaas-Jan under my wing as a starting player and I consider it an honor to now guide Klaas-Jan in his first steps of his possible trainer career.”

Huntelaar, who recently stopped as a professional football player, will follow the trainer course and wants to broaden his knowledge of a possible future as a coach in the coming months.
