In cooperation with opta and the Kitchen Champion Division, Voetbalzone puts together a Team of the Week every week with players who have performed the best based on statistics. Last Friday, round eleven was scheduled, the first round in the second period. A total of ten clubs are part of the Team of the Week. Jong PSV is the only team to supply more than one player.
The goal is defended this week by Liam Bossin. The FC Dordrecht goalie with his team was 0-1 too strong for VVV-Venlo and managed to keep the zero for the second week in a row. In front of him he finds Rik Mulders, Jeffry Fortes, Manel Royo and Jenson Seelt. The striker recorded the shared highest number of shots (six), shared highest number of shots on target (three), highest Expected Goals value (1.48) and most aerial duels won (eleven), while also being one of three players was with more than one goal in this round of the Kitchen Champion Division.
