Peter Bosz once again enjoyed Olivier Boscali's playing. The PSV coach understands that his French centre-back was named Man of the Match in the Philips Stadium on Thursday for his performance against SC Heerenveen (2-0 win). “I think Boscagli has been incredible in recent weeks,” Bosz said afterwards ESPN.

“I don't know if Boscagli did anything wrong today,” says Bosz, who has Kenneth Perez at his side. The analyst of ESPN enjoyed Boscagli's game. “I really liked Boscagli's passes today,” said Perez. “There was a thought behind everything he did. Unlike defenders who shoot blindly, like Van Aanholt. Boscagli then chooses the pass, because that is the better option.”

PSV recorded its fifteenth victory in a row in the Eredivisie on Thursday, but it was not easy, Bosz also believes. “I told the boys beforehand that it would be a difficult match for us, but that turned out to be true,” said the coach.

“After such a week in which we received one compliment after another. Then you have to play against a good football team that has gradually caught up. They made it very difficult for us.”

Heerenveen could have struck in Eindhoven, says Bosz. “Of course we had the upper hand and more chances, but I thought it was open to us. We did not keep it compact. We did not cover well and therefore the remaining defense was not well organized. Fortunately, they did not take advantage of that. It took a long time The score was 1-0, so as a coach I didn't sit quietly on the bench for a long time.”

Guus Til indicated afterwards that he suffered from fatigue. “All the boys with us have that,” says Bosz. “It also makes sense. We play two matches a week. We have many international players who are also away when the rest have some rest. You will feel that at some point.”

PSV is struggling with aches and pains. “The minor injuries we are dealing with are also partly related to fatigue. Then as a coach you slowly start to rotate more.”

PSV is chasing a very prestigious Eredivisie record, that of seventeen victories in a row. “This was already the fifteenth, right?” Bosz asks for confirmation. “It's slowly starting to dawn on me too. Now it's getting close. How nice would it be!?”
