If it is up to Louis Saha, Manchester United must do everything they can to bring Karim Benzema to the club. He would 'shake up the attack considerably' and could also teach the talented Rasmus Højlund the tricks of the trade. The former Manchester United striker shares these thoughts in an exclusive interview with Betting Odds.

Saha is asked what he thinks of Højlund. Both men know the pressure that comes with playing as a young striker for Manchester United. “It's unfair to put the pressure of the No. 9 position on him without experienced players around him,” Saha replied.

“I played with Ruud van Nistelrooij and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. You need someone experienced who can teach you the runs in the box. I had those legends around me who helped me improve my runs and skills.”

The lack of quality on the wings is also a problem for Højlund, Saha thinks. “The wingers don't know what to do. It's very difficult for Højlund to find space if the players who have to give him the ball don't know where to run.”

And so Saha comes up with some heartfelt advice for Manchester United and Erik ten Hag: signing an experienced top striker. One name immediately falls into that category. Benzema's.

“Benzema may not be the fastest or the strongest, but he is so smart in the box.” Faced with the rumor that Benzema would be unhappy in Saudi Arabia and the question of whether the Frenchman would be a good transfer for Manchester United, Saha responds affirmatively.

“He would shake up Manchester United's attack and that's exactly what they need. He'll definitely score goals and he's great in the link up play. It may be just a dream, but he is exactly the type of striker from whom Højlund can learn a lot,” concludes the former striker.
