Haaland and Mbappé show class, Chelsea down in Zagreb
Erling Braut Haaland and Kylian Mbappe immediately showed their class for Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain during the first group matches of the Champions League on Tuesday evening. The Norwegian was accurate twice in a 0-4 win over Sevilla, while the Frenchman provided PSG’s two goals in the 2-1 win against Juventus. Chelsea underperformed and, with substitute Hakim Ziyech, lost 1-0 to Dinamo Zagreb thanks to an early goal from Mislav Orsic.

Daley Blind focuses on the left back position this season
Daley Blind seems to have to focus on the left back position at Ajax this season. The the Dutch international also acted as a left central defender and controller in midfield, but had to show up in recent weeks as a replacement for the injured Owen Wijndal. Jonker qualifies with the Dutch Lionesses in the final second for the World Cup
Debuting national coach Andries Jonker and his the Dutch Lionesses managed to qualify for the Women’s World Cup in the final second on Tuesday evening. In the Utrecht Galgenwaard, Esmee Brugts became the heroine by scoring the 1-0 against Iceland just before time. As a result, the Lionesses go to the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand as group winners.

‘The measure is full’: FC Utrecht traces troublemakers and sprinkles with penalties
FC Utrecht has apologized in a statement on the club’s website for the misbehavior of its own supporters in recent matches. The duels with Ajax (0-2 loss) and Fortuna Sittard (3-4) were both overshadowed by fans who, among other things, set off fireworks and threw Brian Brobbey onto the field in a racist manner. Various people have been arrested and registered for a stadium ban, the Domstedelingen report. In total, 19 people were sentenced.
