Wouter Gudde is disappointed with the leaking of the news about the appointment of Dick Lukkien as the new coach of FC Groningen. According to the general manager of the northerners, there was a deliberate leak from FC Emmen, the current employer of the intended new coach of Groningen. On Sunday morning it was announced that Lukkien will be the new coach for the number seventeen in the Eredivisie from next season.
Gudde responds on Sunday Good morning Premier League on the appointment of Lukkien. “I can confirm the message for 99 percent,” said the Groningen director. “We agree and still have to work out a few points. But that will work out. I think it’s good to be open right away. After the home game here against FC Emmen (on February 18, ed.) I have against Dennis van der Ree indicated that I want to look further than just his position towards next season. I started doing that. We had discussions and reached an agreement last weekend.
