Gareth Bale leaves Real Madrid and immediately returns to Tottenham Hotspur, making both clubs world famous. The rental period of the attacker from Wales lasts until the end of the season. According to various foreign media Tottenham deposits 14.25 million euros for the rental deal. Real, however, continues to pay part of Bale’s salary. The 31-year-old Welshman has two more seasons in Madrid.

Bale came out of Tottenham for a few seasons earlier in his career. The London club sold him to Real for one hundred million euros in mid-2013. The striker, who can also be used as a midfielder, won the Champions League four times and two national titles with the Spanish superpower. Last season, under trainer Zinédine Zidane, he came into action only sporadically, which makes an interim departure the best solution for all parties. Bale leaves Real with 105 goals and 68 assists in 251 matches behind his name.

For manager Jose Mourinho, Bale is the fifth acquisition for this season in the Premier League. Tottenham already managed to bring Joe Hart (transfer free), Matt Doherty (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Pierre-Emile Höjbjerg (Southampton) and Sergio Reguilón (Real Madrid) to North London. Bale will probably make his debut on Sunday for The Spursfacing Southampton on the second game day in the Premier League.
