Feyenoord has announced how it will fill in the coming weeks. The leader of the Eredivisie will travel to Lagos in Portugal in mid-December for a training camp. In addition, the plan is to play at least five exhibition games in December, three of which are already planned: against KV Oostende, Go Ahead Eagles and FC Emmen.

Three players from Feyenoord will be active at the World Cup in Qatar in the coming period: Justin Bijlow (Netherlands), Sebastian Szymanski (Poland) and Alireza Jahanbakhsh (Iran). The rest of the selection will be free in the coming weeks, after which the players must report again on December 5. Then the team from Rotterdam will resume training behind closed doors.

The first exhibition match is scheduled for Saturday 10 December: at Varkenoord against Oostende, the number fourteen of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League. Two days later, on December 12, Feyenoord will leave for Lagos. Earlier this year, the club also prepared for the Conference League final (1-0 defeat against AS Roma). The plan is to play two exhibition games there, but Feyenoord does not report whether opponents have already been found. The training camp will last until December 17.

On December 23, again at Varkenoord, another exhibition match will be played: against Go Ahead. This duel lasts 150 minutes, divided over two blocks. Less than a week later, on December 28, the selection of trainer Arne Slot closes the calendar year with a benefit match against FC Emmen. That game will be all about the Feyenoord Foundation.
