Feyenoord is keen to have Danilo available after the summer. The striker will run out of his contract with Ajax in a few weeks and can transfer to the arch rival free of charge. According to The Telegraph Feyenoord will ‘do everything possible’ to bring in Danilo. It is not known what consequences this will have for Cyriel Dessers. The Rotterdammers have an option to buy the mercenary from KRC Genk of four million euros.

“Danilo himself does not want to say anything about the transition, because he knows that it is sensitive,” writes the above-mentioned newspaper. “Especially on the Amsterdam side, where has been invested in the player and who now wants to leave for a competitor for free.” The 23-year-old Brazilian will run out of his contract in Amsterdam at the end of June and can then be picked up on a transfer-free basis.
