Nicolas Raskin is on Feyenoord’s radar, reports 1908.nl. General manager Dennis te Kloese revealed last week during a meeting of the Feyenoord Business Club that the Rotterdammers are monitoring the developments of two Belgians, a Norwegian, a Dutchman and an Argentinian. One of these Belgians is 21-year-old Raskin, who has an expiring contract with Standard Liège.

Raskin comes from Standard’s youth, but moved to Anderlecht’s academy in 2015. Via AA Gent, the Belgian youth international finally returned to in the summer of 2019. lesson Rouches. Raskin immediately got a handful of chances from then trainer Michel Preud’homme. He has now been an undisputed basic player at Sclessin for several seasons. Raskin has so far made 95 official matches for Standard, in which he was good for five goals and thirteen assists.

1908.nl already reported Feyenoord’s interest in Argentinian Máximo Perrone in September. The nineteen-year-old defensive midfielder is still in his native country until mid-2023. In the winter, the Rotterdammers still hope to get a ‘number 6’ to De Kuip as the definitive successor to Fredrik Aursnes. Perrone has so far played 33 official games for Vélez, scoring three times and delivering two assists. The left leg is also a youth international with Argentina.

The name of Sivert Mannsverk also fell in De Kuip last summer as a possible successor to Aursnes. The twenty-year-old midfielder has been playing for Molde since last summer, which took him over from Sogndal IL as a replacement for Aursnes. Like Aursnes, Mannsverk has been able to convince the club management of Feyenoord of his qualities. However, Feyenoord will not be able to pick up Mannsverk for the same low price as Marcus Pedersen and Aursnes. 1908.nl spoke of several million in previous reports, while Aursnes came to Rotterdam last summer for only 450,000 euros. Feyenoord paid one million euros for Pedersen.
