FC Utrecht is interested in the services of Victor Jensen, it reports General Journal. It seems to be a possible rental deal for the 22-year-old midfielder, as the same newspaper reported last Friday that he, Jay Gorter and Youri Regeer were temporarily allowed to leave the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Jensen has just returned from a rental period at Rosenborg and can now leave temporarily again.

Utrecht wants to complete several transfers in the last days of the winter transfer window, which will run until Tuesday evening (11:59 p.m.). For example, the number seven in the Eredivisie wants to get rid of Moussa Sylla, Djevencio van der Kust and Daishawn Redan, among others. Utrecht also hopes to do business in terms of incoming transfers. The Domstedelingen follow Jensen’s performance and have him in mind as an extra option for midfield.

The Dane was temporarily stabled by Ajax in March of last year at Rosenborg, where he would play thirty matches. Jensen was good for five goals and as many assists. The rental period ended on January 1, so that the midfielder was part of Ajax’s A-selection again since the beginning of this month. Jensen came in for Kenneth Taylor twenty minutes before the end in the cup match with FC Den Bosch (0-2 win).

At Utrecht, Jensen would work with his compatriot Michael Silberbauer, who will be in front of the group in the Galgenwaard after the departure of Henk Fraser. The midfielder, who made his debut in Ajax’s main squad in the first league match of the 2021/22 season against NEC (5-0), has four matches for the A-selection of the team from Amsterdam to his name. Jensen’s contract will run until mid-2024.
