Ajax’s social media team will certainly not let the farewell of Erik ten Hag pass quietly. In a special farewell video, the outgoing coach is warmly thanked by his own players, some of whom have now fanned out to foreign superpowers. “I want to thank you very much for what you have meant for Ajax and for me as a person,” says Daley Blind in the video.

From the current selection, Brian Brobbey, Jurriën Timber, Ryan Gravenberch, Dusan Tadic and Antony also express their thanks to Ten Hag.
