Hirving Lozano seems feasible for PSV, Rik Elfrink reports Eindhovens Dagblad. The Mexican international, who would like to return to Eindhoven, does not receive a very high salary. According to the club watcher, the transfer fee that Napoli requires for him may be a possible obstacle.

Mexican media also confirm that PSV is in the market for Lozano. PSV will have to transfer about fifteen million euros for its services. Lozano would also require an annual salary of around three million euros. The latter is manageable for PSV, but the transfer fee of fifteen million euros is a bit much for the people of Eindhoven. Lozano is still stuck in Naples until mid-2024.

PSV has to get that money from somewhere. According to Elfrink, the club can choose to sell Ibrahim Sangaré or Johan Bakayoko. There is interest from England for both players. Nottingham Forest made a bid of 25 million euros for Sangaré and Burnley knocked with a slightly lower amount for Bakayoko. However, director of football affairs Earnest Stewart decisively brushed aside both bids, hoping to capture more money for his players.

Furthermore, according to Elfrink, PSV is still eagerly looking for a central defender. The Brazilian Ramalho does not impress and Peter Bosz prefers to see another defender take over his place. The people of Eindhoven were still associated with Jarrad Branthwaite on Wednesday. The central defender could already be admired on a rental basis at the Philips Stadium last season, but turned out to be too expensive for a permanent transition. A new attempt must therefore still lead to a second season in Eindhoven’s service.
