De Roon jokes about X with Van Dijk after a historic victory over Liverpool

In this edition of VZ Social, attention is paid to Marten de Roon, who makes fun of Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk on X.

On Thursday evening, Liverpool was beaten at Anfield by Atalanta, Marten de Roon's club. Jürgen Klopp's team fell behind 0-1 in the first half and saw the problems only worsen after half-time.

Ultimately, Atalanta managed to win the match in the quarter-finals of the Europa League 0-3, which puts the Italian club in a very good starting position for next week's return.

Two Dutchmen started in the starting line-up for both teams. On the Italian side, Teun Koopmeiners and De Roon kicked off. Cody Gakpo and Van Dijk started for Liverpool.
