Galatasaray is again alone in the lead in the Süper Lig. The team of trainer Fatih Terim settled on Saturday evening with number eighteen Erzurum BB and that meant the eighth league victory in a row for CimBom: 2-0. The goals came in the name of winter purchase Mostafa Mohamed, who runs one on one in the Süper Lig: six duels, six goals. Galatasaray now has three and six points more than Besiktas and Fenerbahçe, respectively, who have both played one game less.

After 65 minutes, Galatarasay thought he would reach 3-0 via a slider from Emre in the left corner, but the VAR noted a handball from Onyekuru before the goal. However, the VAR did not intervene when Turan clumsily carried out a wild charge on Emrah Bassan in the penalty area of Erzurum. The visitors asked for a red card, but Arda didn’t even get yellow.

Ryan Babel replaced Arda seven minutes before time and Mustafa El Kabir came in for the visitors just before time. Ryan Donk didn’t get any playing time from Terim and neither did Brahim Darri on the Erzurum side. Besiktas plays out on Tuesday at Yeni Malatyaspor, while Fenerbahçe awaits an away game at Trabzonspor on Sunday. The number four has only three points less.
