Besiktas dealt with third divisionist Serik Belediyespor in the Turkish cup on Wednesday evening. The team of trainer Senol Günes won 3-1 at home and therefore goes to the fifth round of the Türkiye Kupasi. Nathan Redmond, Jackson Muleka and Dele Alli were the goalscorers. Wout Weghorst came in five minutes before time.

Redmond opened the score for the home team after five minutes. The ex-player of Norwich City and Southampton, among others, was played on the center line, dribbled past his direct opponent and shot hard into the bottom left corner from over twenty meters: 1-0. Less than three minutes later, Muleka extended the margin to two. The home side took advantage of a big mistake in the defense of Belediyespor, which headed the ball into Alli’s feet.

The Englishman kept the overview, gave in to Redmond, who gave Muleka an unmissable chance for an open goal with a tight and low cross: 2-0. Alli would also score a goal before half time. The midfielder caught a falling ball and slid under the goalkeeper in a controlled manner: 3-0.
