Sheraldo Becker can again hope for a dream transfer to the Premier League after his failed transfer to Everton last January. The 28-year-old attacker of 1. FC Union Berlin is according to Sky Sports namely in the interest of West Ham United, Fulham and PhD student Burnley.

The Amsterdammer has long been interested in clubs from England and other top competitions. The six-time international from Suriname is having an excellent season at Union Berlin. Becker has so far scored 12 goals and 10 assists in 46 appearances for the Berlin club, which is still in the running for Champions League football. The team of trainer Urs Fischer is – with two games to go – in fourth place, three points ahead of number five SC Freiburg.

Union Berlin did not participate in a transfer from Becker on January 31, who could leave for Everton. The Germans wanted to keep the selection largely intact in order to close the season as well as possible. Becker, who still has a contract until mid-2024 in Berlin, seems to be able to choose from at least West Ham, Fulham and Burnley in the summer. The Clarets are led by Vincent Kompany and were promoted to the highest level this season. Union Berlin would like to receive an amount of between fifteen and twenty million euros for Becker.

The attacker exchanged ADO Den Haag for Union Berlin in the summer of 2019, after coming over from Ajax three years earlier. Becker came to 95 matches for the Hagenezen and was good for thirteen goals and acted as a declarant twenty times. The Amsterdammer comes from Ajax’s youth academy, but never made minutes in the first team.
