Rémy Vita definitively makes the switch from Bayern Munich to Fortuna Sittard, the latter reported on Tuesday via the official channels. The 21-year-old left back played for the second team of of the Rekordmeister and signs a contract in Sittard that binds him to the club until mid-2026. At the same time know Football International that Alex Timossi Andersson is close to a transfer to sc Heerenveen.

Vita is the third acquisition for Fortuna Sittard, which previously managed to tie Burak Yilmaz, Michael Verrips and Ivo Pinto. “I have had the opportunity to gain experience in different countries and competitions in recent seasons,” the Frenchman said via Fortuna’s club website. “I will take this with me to Sittard. I would like to develop further here. The fact that the club has confidence in me is apparent from my four-year commitment.”

Vita went through the youth academy of Angers SCO and signed his first professional contract with Troyes in the summer of 2018. Two years later, the left-back made the switch to Bayern Munich’s second team, after which he was loaned to Barnsley last season. In the Championship, the defender came to nineteen official duels. Sjoerd Ars, Fortuna’s technical manager, is looking forward to Vita’s arrival. “Rémy is a hugely talented left-back, a player who has specific qualities that we were looking for.”

In addition to Vita, Bayern is also expected to send Andersson to the Eredivisie.
