Callum Hudson-Odoi has once again appeared on Bayern Munich’s radar, so you know Sky Deutschland to report. The nineteen-year-old winger would not be unwilling to face a transfer to the Champions League winner, it sounds. Hudson-Odoi, who recently signed his contract the Blues extended until mid-2024, manager Frank Lampard cannot count on a permanent place in the starting line-up.

In the spectacular game with West Bromwich Albion (3-3), in which Chelsea came back from a 3-0 deficit, Hudson-Odoi was used as a substitute. The aforementioned medium emphasizes, however, that the Chelsea leadership is not immediately waiting for an interim departure from the young winger. In addition, it is not yet known what amount Bayern will pay to bring the Englishman to the Bundesliga.

Bayern’s interest in Hudson-Odoi is by no means new. In 2019, Bayern submitted several million offers for the fast flank player. An agreement had even been reached on a multi-year contract, as technical director Hasan Salihamidzic reported in the German media at the time. That statement aroused resentment in Chelsea, which promptly unplugged the negotiations with der Rekordmeister pulled. More than a year later, however, Bayern is considering new negotiations with the London club.

Hudson-Odoi was also out of circulation for months in 2019 due to a serious Achilles tendon injury, so a transfer to Bayern never got off the ground. Last year, the German superpower looked for suitable successors to Arjen Robben and Franck Ribéry for the wings. Leroy Sané, however, turned out not to be feasible, although the German international exchanged Manchester City for Bayern last summer. They have until October 5 to do business with Chelsea regarding Hudson-Odoi.
