Spanish national coach Luis Enrique has announced his 23-man squad for the Nations League Final Four. The most striking name in the Spanish selection is that of Gavi, the only 17-year-old talent from Barcelona. The midfielder made his debut this season under coach Ronald Koeman and sees his development being rewarded with a call for La Roja.

Gavi was trained at Barcelona and broke through this season under Koeman, who, partly due to personnel problems, called on the talent. So far, Gavi has played in four league games and played in the Champions League against Bayern Munich (0-3 loss) and Benfica (3-0 loss). In his first matches in the main squad of Barcelona, in which he played a total of 289 minutes, he made such a good impression that Luis Enrique makes him part of the final Spanish selection.

Yéremy Pino is another notable name in the Spanish roster. The eighteen-year-old winger is making a name for himself at Villarreal this season and can now show it to the national coach in the absence of Álvaro Morata, Gerard Moreno and Dani Olmo. Spain will play the semifinals of the Nations League against Italy on Wednesday, October 6. The winner will compete against Belgium or France.
