Memphis Depay is not happy with Barcelona’s attitude. That reports SPORT. The attacker from Moordrecht is aware that he does not have to count on much playing time in the remainder of the season, but also does not feel like leaving against the conditions of the Catalan club. That would mean that Memphis is missing out on a lot of money.
Barcelona wants to cooperate in a winter departure of the the Dutch international, but on its own terms. For example, Memphis, who is stuck in Spotify Camp Nou until mid-2023, could leave transfer-free if he lets his right to the salary of the last six months go. That writes SPORT. However, that plan has gone down the wrong way with the former PSV player. Memphis would rather stay with Barcelona for six months without playing than have his salary taken away.
The striker no longer has to count on a lot of playing time. Memphis notices that he is never called upon and that he is only allowed to appear during minor matches for the cup tournament.
