Curaçao suffered a practice defeat against Indonesia on Saturday afternoon. Goals from Juninho Bacuna and Rangelo Janga ultimately proved insufficient: 3-2. The meeting with Indonesia on Saturday afternoon was the first of two encounters in a short time for Curaçao.

Both countries will also face each other in Java on Tuesday. National coach Remko Bicentini saw how his team shot straight out of the starting blocks on Saturday via Janga, who reacted alertly and was able to work in a rebound from close by after seven minutes. However, Indonesia managed to turn the game around halfway through the first half. Amsterdam-born Marc Klok was overlooked by the Curaçao defense and left goalkeeper Tyrick Bodak without a chance.

The 2-1 was soon won by Saddil Ramdani who promoted a long throw-in with his head into a goal. A few minutes later, Bacuna made sure that the score was 2-2 at halftime. The former FC Groningen player got the ball with some luck and then hit a goal in the short corner. It was Indonesia that finally took the practice win in the second company, after Dimas Drajad beautifully beat Bodak with his heel: 3-2.
