Atlético Madrid booked a big win in LaLiga on Wednesday evening. In the Wanda Metropolitano, Cádiz was beaten 5-1. Antoine Griezmann accounted for the first two goals, while Álvaro Morata, Yannick Carrasco and Nahuel Molina completed the goal production. Thanks to the victory, coach Diego Simeone’s team takes second place in the ranking from Real Madrid (68 points), which collected one point less than Atlético (69) after 33 games.

Particularities
Without the injured Memphis Depay, Atlético already took a 1-0 lead after a minute of play thanks to Griezmann, who also scored the 2-0 half an hour later with a devastating shot. Within fifteen minutes of rest loose Colchoneros the lead has already been doubled: first Álvaro Morata made it 3-0 on a pass from Mario Hermoso; then Carrasco put the 4-0 on the scoreboard thanks to a converted penalty kick. The final chord was played by Molina, who scored 5-1 a minute after Choco Lozano’s extremely beautiful goal of honor.
