Antony did not show himself on the Ajax training field again on Saturday, Fabrizio Romano reports. The winger is in the explicit interest of Manchester United, which made an offer of eighty million euros, but does not seem to be allowed to leave for the time being. Antony is not happy with the fact that Ajax does not seem to want to cooperate in a transfer. On Thursday it came out that the team from Amsterdam has declined an offer of eighty million euros for the Brazilian attacker. An internal review is being carried out to determine whether Antony’s actions should be sanctioned. There is a possibility that he will not be there on Sunday when the reigning national champion takes on Sparta at Het Kasteel.

The Telegraph announced on Friday afternoon that Antony did report to Sportpark De Toekomst on Friday, but that he skipped Ajax’s group training. He did spend some time in the weight room. The winger refuses to make any statements about the possible transfer to Manchester United. Ajax will also not make any announcements for the time being about whether or not Antony will play against Sparta on Sunday. In the absence of the Brazilian, there is a good chance that Steven Berghuis will start as a right winger.
