Amin Sarr makes the switch from sc Heerenveen to Olympique Lyon, the club announced on Monday through the official channels. The 21-year-old striker comes over for an amount of twelve to thirteen million euros and becomes one of the most expensive outgoing players ever for Heerenveen. The Swedish-born striker signs a contract that links him to Lyon until mid-2027.

Last Saturday, transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano suddenly came with the news that the negotiations between the clubs involved about Sarr were already at an advanced stage. Sarr was taken over by Heerenveen from Malmö FF for 2 million euros a year ago and scored 10 goals in 31 league matches in Friesland. The striker said goodbye to his teammates on Saturday evening after the lost Eredivisie match with Vitesse (1-3).

“This is strange. I am happy with Lyon, but I say goodbye with a defeat. That’s sour,” he said to Sarr on camera ESPN. “The first contact with Lyon was last week. After that everything accelerated. There was a lot of calling, a lot of talking. And there was another match with Heerenveen against Vitesse. It was really busy.”

Osame Sahraoui is in the picture to soon strengthen the selection of trainer Kees van Wonderen, so it was known Football International earlier on Monday. The Norwegian youth international has been on a shortlist of the Heerenveen scouting for some time. According to Norwegian sources, the asking price is around two million euros. Sahraoui scored 13 goals and 18 assists in 84 matches in the Elite series. Heerenveen is also in the market for Daniel Karlsbakk from Viking FK. The nineteen-year-old center forward has also played ten youth international matches for Norway. Viking would have put a price tag of three million euros around Karlsbakk’s neck.
