Juventus completely relinquished a lead against Genoa on Friday evening. Massimiliano Allegri’s team took the lead against Genoa with a beautiful goal from the much-discussed Paulo Dybala, who leaves on a free transfer and according to Italian media is finished with Internazionale. Genoa battled against former AZ player Albert Gudmundsson and a penalty from Domenico Criscito to a stunning victory: 2-1. Juventus therefore remains fourth behind Napoli, while Genoa rises to eighteenth place and can still dream of preserving life. The joy in the Luigi Ferraris was huge afterwards.
Allegri decided – with a view to the final of the Coppa Italia next Wednesday – to rotate enormously and put Matthijs de Ligt on the bench for 90 minutes for the second time in three games. Genoa appeared dangerously after fifteen minutes via Mattia Destro, who just couldn’t control the ball and was denied a great chance. Genoa also tried via a corner, with Leo Östigard towering over the Juventus defense but not hitting the mark. Juventus had the most of the ball, but only made one serious attempt before half-time. Moise Kean’s shot was tagged away by Salvatore Sirigu.

The game was broken open three minutes after the break by Dybala, who had started as a right striker in an attack with center pawn Dusan Vlahovic and left winger Moise Kean. The latter played the ball in to Dybala, who surprisingly struck out eighteen meters from the goal with his less-esteemed right leg. The shot landed exactly in the bottom right corner: 0-1. Dybala tried again with a beautiful long shot, which came back into the field via the far post.
GENOA DOES IT STILL WORK ??

Genoa fought for what it was worth and Caleb Ekuban headed just wide from a cross from the left for ten minutes. Juventus appeared to be awarded a penalty when substitute Marley Aké went to the grass, but after a VAR procedure, it was ruled that Albert Gudmundsson did not foul Juve’s French attacker with his tackle. Gudmundsson took full advantage by equalizing on the other side. The former AZ attacker was released on the left in the penalty area and finished in a controlled manner: 1-1. Genoa should have even won after Adrien Rabiot’s stupid loss of the ball, but Nadiem Amiri saw his shot from very close range by Wojciech Szczesny. Kean wasted another chance for an open goal on the other side, after which Genoa was awarded a penalty for a clumsy foul by Mattia De Sciglio. In minute 90+6 Domenico Criscito scored from eleven meters: 1-1.
