Helmond Sport disrupted De Graafschap’s party on Wednesday evening. After a 0-0 draw at De Vijverberg and a 0-1 victory by Go Ahead Eagles at Excelsior, the team of trainer Kees van Wonderen will get the second Eredivisie ticket. Orhan Dzepar tells for the camera of ESPN that he was given the necessary prospects prior to the duel with De Graafschap if Helmond Sport would achieve a result in Doetinchem.
Dzepar was under contract with Go Ahead Eagles between 2014 and 2019, before moving to Helmond Sport. “It’s very good, disrupting a party. The match? In short, it was a lot of struggle. “I haven’t checked my phone yet,” the 24-year-old midfielder continues. In the run-up to the game with De Graafschap, he had contact with ‘a friend’ at Go Ahead Eagles. “He said beforehand that we had to go for it. I have been offered a lot, from all kinds of people.
