National champions Paris Saint-Germain spilled points against RC Strasbourg in injury time on Friday evening. For a long time it looked like the team of coach Mauricio Pochettino would take the win, but in the 92nd minute of play Anthony Caci equalized: 3-3. The Parisian goal production was provided by Kylian Mbappé (two goals) and Achraf Hakimi. It was an important point for Strasbourg, which is still in the race for a ticket to the Champions League in Ligue 1.
Pochettino chose to start with the star trio at the forefront. Partly due to the starting positions of Lionel Messi, Mbappé and Neymar, there was no room in the starting eleven for Xavi Simons. Also for Georginio Wijnaldum there was no starting place. Already in the third minute of play, Strasbourg made it clear that he was going to sell his skin dearly. After a measured pass from Lucas Perrin, Kevin Gameiro took care of the unexpected opening goal in the short corner: 1-0.

After the early goal, Adrien Thomasson even thought to score the 2-0 a few minutes later; however, the midfielder scored from an offside position. Halfway through the first act, PSG equalized. With an excellent deep pass, Neymar split the defense open, after which Mbappé stormed straight at goalkeeper Matz Sels. With a punt, the striker managed to outwit the closing post: 1-1. After more than an hour of play, the visitors would only get the lead.
Again the attack was set up by Neymar, who had a nice through ball on Mbappé. The latter put the ball this time to Hakimi, who gave the last push: 1-2. In the 68th minute, PSG seemed to end the game, when Alexander Djiku played the ball in Mbappé’s feet in an incomprehensible way. The striker sprinted at high speed towards Sels and remained icy calm in the finish: 1-3. Yet Strasbourg still provided a big surprise. Fifteen minutes before the final signal, the tension returned to the game with an own goal by Marco Verratti. In an attempt to head the ball away, he outwitted goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma: 2-3.

After considerable insistence and a serious final offensive, Strasbourg even found the equalizer. In the 91st minute it was Anthony Caci who determined the final score: 3-3. Both PSG and Strasbourg had chances to score the winning goal in the six minutes of stoppage time, but the teams kept each other in balance.
