THE new season of the English Premier League kicks off on 12 September with quite a few white-hot matches. Things are starting to get rough for Championship winners Leeds who have to play their first game against defending champions Liverpool at Anfield. The other newcomer Fulham will host Arsenal in a London derby on opening weekend. However, Manchester City’s matches against Aston Villa and Burnley’s Manchester United have been postponed to give the Manchester teams extra recovery time after taking part in European competitions recently.
