The Derby della Madonnina has become a prey for AC Milan on Saturday evening. I Rossoneri took a double lead against Internazionale early in the game thanks to two hits from Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Inter quickly came back into the game via a ticker from Romelu Lukaku and thought they could level the same level with a penalty in the final phase, but it was reversed: 1-2.

Internazionale started the match well, but that changed when Ibrahimovic was kicked on the heels in the sixteen by Aleksandar Kolarov. The Swede then saw his penalty be turned by Samir Handanovic, but was lucky to be able to tap the ball in the rebound: 0-1. Three minutes later, it was again hit for Ibrahimovic, who thanked teammate Rafael Leão for this. The latter passed Danilo D’Ambrosio on the left flank and delivered a fine low cross to Ibrahimovic: 0-2.

With that, the game was far from over, as Inter quickly fought back. Ivan Perisic reached the goal line on the left flank and was lucky that his low cross ended up at the fingertips of Gianluigi Donnarumma at Romelu Lukaku, who simply tapped in: 1-2. The game continued to wave up and down after that. Inter was unlucky in injury time in the first half when a header from Lukaku hit the outside of the post.

Even after the break, the Milanese clubs turned out to be well matched. Internazionale had the most initiative, while Milan mainly bet on the counterattack. Achraf Hakimi was given the greatest opportunity. The right back popped up in the box at the far post and tried with a floating header, but aimed quite wide. Inter thought he would receive a penalty in the 73rd minute, when Lukaku went to the ground after light contact with Donnarumma. However, the VAR ruled that the Milan goalkeeper did not commit an offense and reversed the decision.

Lukaku had two more chances in the 93rd minute, but first extended a pass from Lautaro Martínez to just wide of the post, and then saw a heel hit Donnarumma’s body.
