Hakim Ziyech and his agent Mustapha Nakhli part ways after a collaboration of twelve years. On Friday evening, the Chelsea attacker announced via Instagram that he will take matters into his own hands and no longer want to be dependent on a third party. “I want to negotiate myself and I want to make decisions about my career,” Ziyech said.

Ziyech has been guided since his youth at sc Heerenveen by Nakhli Mondial, the real estate agency of agent Nakhli. With a special word of thanks, the hanging right winger announces that the roads are now parting. “I have reached a point in my life where I feel it is time to take control of my professional future,” Ziyech wrote. “I want to negotiate and make decisions about my career all by myself. I am very grateful for the continued support I have received. Thank you for the past twelve years, I wish you nothing but the best.”

At the same time, Nakhli also comes with a series of photos on the social medium and a word of thanks in the caption. “After 12 great years, we are ending our collaboration. A period of declines, successes and countless beautiful memories. The best player Nakhli Mondial has ever coached, but everything comes to an end. Hakim, we have enjoyed all your wonderful moments as a footballer and on behalf of Nakhli Mondial I would like to thank you for the trust and loyalty! I wish you all the best, health and happiness, Ziyech,” said the business representative.

Ziyech is currently in the explicit interest of AC Milan, although it is as yet unclear whether the business decision is directly related to the current transfer troubles. Earlier on Friday, transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano announced that the Milanese have reopened talks with Chelsea about a transfer from Ziyech and that attracting the creative is seen as a top priority. Charles De Ketelaere also seems closer to a switch to i Rossoneric to come.
