Galatasaray have reached the next round of the Turkish Cup. The club was too strong at home on Thursday evening with 4-1 for Ümraniyespor, which plays in the second level. Baris Alper Yilmaz shot the ball into his own goal in the first half, but quickly made up for it by scoring himself.

Particularities:
Galatasaray fell behind after 23 minutes of play due to an own goal by Yilmaz, who wanted to clear a low cross but accidentally shot the ball hard into his own goal. The right winger made up for that ten minutes later by personally leveling the score for the home team. Yilmaz headed a measured cross from Kerem Demirbay into the far corner: 1-1.

Galatasaray would take the lead before half time. Once again it was Demirbay who provided the assist, this time on Tetê. The Brazilian was able to knock a hard and low cross from Demirbay almost onto the goal line: 2-1. Abdülkerim Bardakci signed for the 3-1 after more than an hour of play. Umraniyespor had to play with ten men in the 67th minute after Sirachan Nas was sent off with a second yellow card. Halil Dervisoglu put the final score on the board from the penalty spot a few minutes before the end: 4-1.
