Latest update:

Painful loss of points for Juventus on Sunday afternoon. In their own Allianz Stadum, Massimiliano Allegri's team was stuck with a 0-0 draw against Genoa. The draw allows AC Milan to distance themselves later in the day la Vecchia Signora.

Dusan Vlahovic returned to striker at Juventus. The Serbian striker was not present against Atalanta (2-2) last week, but now returned to the kick-off. He replaced former Ajax player Arek Milik at the point of attack.

The first chance of the match was for Genoa. However, Wojciech Szczesny managed to acrobatically pluck a header out of the goal. A weak Juventus managed to create a meager chance in the first half.

After a cross from Filip Kostic, Federico Gatti tried to finish, but his attempt was touched and flew wide. Juve showed some improvement in the second half, but goals were not forthcoming.

The best chance of the match was for substitute Samuel Iling Junior. However, the Englishman saw his bet fall to the wayside. But Juventus did not come any closer to a goal.

To make matters worse, Vlahovic did not complete the match. The striker received two stupid yellow cards in injury time. After a tackle, the striker flew into a rage when no whistle was blown for a foul. He immediately received a print for that.

However, the striker was not done yet and continued to harass the referee, who felt forced to also draw a second yellow – and therefore a red – card. The bloodless draw is grist to the mill for AC Milan. If they win against Hellas Verona, they can move three points clear of Juventus.
