Manchester City laid the foundation for a place in the last eight in the Champions League on Wednesday evening. Pep Guardiola’s team triumphed 0-2 over Borussia Mönchengladbach, which meant not only the nineteenth consecutive victory in all competitions, but also an English record: twelve consecutive away by a club of the highest level in England.
