The supporters of Vitesse have shown their dissatisfaction with Tottenham Hotspur before the game against NS Mura. Banners were displayed outside the stadium with texts such as ‘Fuck you Spurs’ and ‘UEFA Mafia’. The game between Tottenham Hotspur and Stade Rennais was cancelled, while Vitesse has to play ‘normally’ on Thursday evening. The team from Arnhem therefore does not immediately know whether they have been qualified for the next round of the Conference League.

Tottenham is struggling with a large number of corona infections. The English compete with Vitesse for a place in the knockout phase of the Conference League. They have the same number of points; the goal difference is in favor of Tottenham (+3 versus +1). General director Pascal van Wijk van Vitesse told Thursday evening that Vitesse actually does not want to play, but that will happen anyway. Supporters welcomed the players with fireworks at GelreDome stadium.
