At the end of the current season, the Belgian will return to Eindhoven.
The day before the Eredivisie match with Go Ahead Eagles, trainer Ruud van Nistelrooij already confirmed that Vertessen was nominated to be rented out. It Eindhovens Dagblad announced earlier this week that the Royal Antwerp of Marc Overmars and Mark van Bommel was also interested in the attacker.
