Alex Telles is nominated to leave Manchester United, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The left back is in the interest of a number of clubs and can the Mancunians so generate some income. Telles’ departure would also benefit Tyrell Malacia, who would see a competitor leave.

Romano writes that Telles could close the door behind him at Manchester United in the coming weeks. The left back is in the interest of three clubs, Sevilla being one of them. They are closely monitoring the situation surrounding the 29-year-old Brazilian. Reaching an agreement depends on United, who may have to continue to pay part of the defender’s salary. Previously, the interest of FC Porto, Telles’ previous club, was also mentioned, but according to Romano, that is not the case.

A departure from Telles would mean that Erik ten Hag, the trainer of Man United, will have some extra financial options. He would still like to enter the transfer market and reportedly wants to add an extra striker to the roster. If Telles is rented out, a salary will in any case be released to realize this. A possible sale of the Brazilian, whose value by Transfermarkt estimated at eighteen million euros, would certainly work out nicely for the Mancunians.

Malacia will also hope that Telles leaves shortly. The 29-year-old left leg is a competitor of the back who came over from Feyenoord and if he leaves, Malacia only has to fight Luke Shaw for a starting place. That is a formidable competitor, because the Englishman will certainly not make an outgoing transfer and has played at least twenty times a year as a basic player in recent seasons. He also came to 21 caps for England.
