Tyrell Malacia has a new agent, Martijn Krabbendam reports in the Dick Formekaar Podcast by Football International. The 22-year-old wing defender of Feyenoord has recently joined Ali Dursun, who also represents the interests of, among others, Frenkie de Jong, Donny van de Beek and Justin Bijlow.

Malacia has been represented in the past by the Sports Entertainment Group, which has been discredited after it allegedly held back millions in signing money following Stefan de Vrij’s transfer from Lazio to Internazionale. The Feyenoord fullback was one of the players to leave and he has now joined Dursun.

“That does mean that the boy is thinking about a period after Feyenoord,” says Krabbendam, Feyenoord watcher for Football International. Van de Beek recently exchanged agent Guido Albers for Dursun. “It is obvious. Donny van de Beek has already switched to Ali Dursun. He now has Frenkie de Jong and at Feyenoord also Justin Bijlow. That way he becomes quite a big player.”

Club Brugge was concrete in the market for Malacia last summer. “They wanted to pay a few million for him, then Malacia finally stayed,” Krabbendam said in the Feyenoord podcast of the weekly. Malacia signed a new contract with Feyenoord until mid-2024 in June. “This is my club, ever since I came here in 2008,” Malacia said at the time. “Since then I have grown every year as a footballer, so it makes sense to want to stay longer at Feyenoord.”
