In cooperation with opta and the Kitchen Champion Division, Voetbalzone puts together a Team of the Week every week with players who have performed the best based on statistics. Last Friday the tenth round was scheduled. Heracles Almelo can call itself the big winner due to the victory over De Graafschap and the defeats of some competitors, while MVV Maastricht, Roda JC and Jong AZ also did excellent business.
The goal is defended this week by Liam Bossin. The FC Dordrecht goalie kept a clean sheet against title candidate PEC Zwolle (3-0) for the first time this season. The closing post managed to distinguish itself with no fewer than eleven saves. Telstar delivers two defenders with Mitch Apau and Delvechio Blackson. The centre-back and right-back excelled in a 0-2 win against the White Lions on Young PSV. At Jong AZ, Peer Koopmeiners and Iman Griffith caught the eye with a beating of NAC Breda (4-0).

The striker position is filled by Dylan Vente. The attacker of Roda JC was involved in all goals in a 4-1 at VVV-Venlo. Vente scored two goals and two assists, thus strengthening his position as top scorer in the Kitchen Champion Division. The goal-getter already has ten goals and four assists. Jeredy Hilterman also stood out in a positive way. The Almere City attacker was accurate once against Jong FC Utrecht (0-2) and scored four shots on goal, the highest number of all players in this round of the Eerste Divisie.
