Go Ahead Eagles brings nineteen-year-old talent from Denmark
Go Ahead Eagles has strengthened itself with Jakob Breum, the team from Deventer announced on Tuesday. The nineteen-year-old winger comes over from the Danish Odense and has signed a contract for four seasons. Breum made his debut for Odense BK at the age of sixteen and played 22 games last season. He recorded one assist. He also played several youth international matches for Denmark.

Darije Kalezic left as trainer of Jong FC Utrecht
FC Utrecht has dissolved the contract of Darije Kalezic ‘in good consultation’. The coach of the U21 team still had a commitment until next summer, but may look for a new challenge. Kalezic settled down at Sportpark Zoudenbalch in the summer of 2021. In his first season, he immediately equaled the points record of Young FC Utrecht in the Kitchen Champion Division. Last season, the Utrecht reserves finished as number last with 28 points from 38 games.

Fenerbahçe brings in Ryan Kent the day after winning the Turkish Cup
Ryan Kent opts for the adventure at Fenerbahçe, the Turkish top club reported on Monday via the official channels. The English wing attacker (26) comes from Rangers, where his contract had reached its final stage. Kent signs a four-year contract with Fenerbahçe after the medical examination and will be presented to the press and public shortly. Kent had been associated with Rangers since 2019 and was in the final of the Europa League with the Scottish top club in 2021, in which Eintracht Frankfurt turned out to be too strong.

Top talent Isaja Mustapha leaves Vitesse for an adventure in Germany
Isaja Mustapha continues his career with 1. FSV Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga, the sixteen-year-old talent announced on Instagram on Monday. This puts an end to his employment in Vitesse’s youth academy. Mustapha is a son of former professional Riga Mustapha, who also played for the team from Arnhem during his career. The striker had no complaints about interest: RB Leipzig, Villarreal, Real Mallorca and Feyenoord also hoped for his signature. After seven years of Vitesse, however, he signed with Mainz.

AS Roma brings in Houssem Aouar on a free transfer
Houssem Aouar will play for AS Roma for the next five seasons, the Italian club confirms through official channels. The attacking midfielder comes over transfer-free from Olympique Lyon, where he was the absolute taste maker for years. Aouar came to a total of 233 official games for the French club, in which he scored 41 goals and 36 assists. In Rome, Aouar takes over from Georginio Wijnaldum. Roma coach José Mourinho decided earlier this month not to exercise the option in the Dutchman’s rental contract, which means that he will return to Paris Saint-Germain.

Aouar says via the club website that he is very satisfied with his transfer. “I am very happy to sign with Roma because this is a big club with a great history. I think this is the right project for me. Roma is a huge club with great players and a unique following. I can’t wait to be on the pitch in this club’s shirt.” Aouar will play in the Italian capital with his favorite shirt number 22.

Utrecht has a bite and presents promising English talent

Marco Rente remains active in Kitchen Champion Division and signs with FC Groningen
FC Groningen has taken over Marco Rente from Heracles Almelo. The 26-year-old German was taken over from Borussia Dortmund in 2020. With Heracles, Rente relegated from the Eredivisie last year, after which promotion was immediately secured last season. Rente, however, remains active in the Kitchen Champion Division, as Groningen finished last last season and is therefore relegated. The defender will sign up until mid-2027 the Pride of the North.

Real Madrid have confirmed Fran Garcia’s return
Fran García returns to Real Madrid, the Spanish club has confirmed. NEC attacker Ibrahima Cissoko makes the final switch to Toulouse. The team from Nijmegen has reached an agreement in principle with the French cup winner, as a result of which the twenty-year-old winger will play in Ligue 1 in the coming years. Rangers win nine international matches with Jack Butland
Jack Butland makes the transfer from Crystal Palace to Rangers FC on a free transfer, the Scottish top club has announced.
