Paris Saint-Germain must sell around a hundred million euros to players before the end of the season to compensate for the big losses, writes this L’Equipe. The top club from France threatens to make a loss of about two hundred million euros over the current financial year, which means that players will have to be sold. Technical director Leonardo barely succeeded in this last summer, despite the fact that Real Madrid had an amount of at least 170 million euros for Kylian Mbappe.

Leonardo sold Mitchel Bakker to Bayer Leverkusen for seven million euros and agreed with West Ham United a rent of two million euros for Alphonse Areola. PSG did not have more transfer income, even though the club had, according to information from L’Equipe an amount of no less than 180 million euros. Partly because of this, PSG is said to have to sell at least one hundred million euros to players in January and June, so as not to be too dependent on owner Qatar Sports Investments.

L’Equipe names seven players who will most likely leave the ranks of PSG, including four who must collectively reach the target amount. It concerns Julian Draxler (20 million euros), Thilo Kehrer, Abdou Diallo (both 25 million euros) and Mauro Icardi (30 million euros). Rafinha appears to be on his way to being loaned to Real Sociedad for six months: the Paris club will probably not receive a rental fee, but could cross out the midfielder’s salary for six months.

Sergio Rico and Layvin Kurzawa are also nominated to leave. PSG had an unprecedented transfer summer with the signings of Sergio Ramos, Georginio Wijnaldum, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Lionel Messi and Achraf Hakimi. Only for the latter was a transfer fee, sixty million euros, paid. Danilo was also taken over from FC Porto for sixteen million euros.
