The 22-year-old attacker, who was born in Leiderdorp, is taken over for two million euros from Stal Mielec, the number seven of the Polish Ekstraklasa. A dream transfer for Hamulic, who failed to break through in the Netherlands at Go Ahead Eagles and now signs a 4.5-year contract in a European top competition via clubs in Lithuania, Bulgaria and Poland.

Hamulic had to leave Go Ahead in July 2019, after which he continued his career with the Quick Boys U23 team. There the Dutchman with Bosnian roots was picked up by DFK Dainava from Lithuania. In 36 official games for DFK, Hamulic scored sixteen goals and two assists, after which he was loaned to the Lithuanian FK Suduva Marijampole and the Bulgarian Botev Plovdiv.

In the past six months, Hamulic played for Stal Mielec at the highest level in Poland. The striker, who can also play as a winger, scored nine goals and four assists in 19 official matches. With that he managed to convince the scouts of Toulouse. The number twelve of the Ligue 1 transfers no less than two million euros to Poland for his services.

At Toulouse, Hamulic becomes a teammate of four Dutchmen. With the presence of Stijn Spierings, Branco van den Boomen, Zakaria Aboukhlal, Thijs Dallinga and now also Hamulic, the PhD student has built up quite a Dutch enclave. The Belgian captain Brecht Dejaegere is also fluent in the Dutch language. Controlling midfielder Van den Boomen is one of the star players of the club in Toulouse, but his contract is expiring. According to Transfer market the right leg is worth about seven million euros.
