Nicolás Tagliafico has a basic place at Ajax on Friday evening during the away match against SC Cambuur. Trainer Erik ten Hag posts Daley Blind in the center of the defense next to Perr Schuurs, while Jurriën Timber takes a seat on the bench. Przemyslaw Tyton is also there for the first time: the Polish goalkeeper was brought in last week as an emergency bandage for the goalkeeper problem at Ajax. Lisandro Martínez and Edson Álvarez, on the other hand, will not be joining Ajax on Friday evening.
Ajax will also play against Cambuur with an attacking midfield. Álvarez – who is on edge and should have missed next week’s Classic with a yellow card in Leeuwarden – is not part of the match selection. Ten Hag therefore opts for Davy Klaassen, Ryan Gravenberch and Steven Berghuis in his midfield.
