Erik ten Hag has announced the line-up of Ajax for the away match against Vitesse. The goodbye coach changes his team in several positions compared to the competition match against sc Heerenveen (5-0). There are, for example, basic places for Jay Gorter, Youri Regeer and Devyne Rensch. The duel in GelreDome starts at 2.30 pm and is led by referee Bas Nijhuis.

Apart from a nice profit premium, Ajax no longer plays against Vitesse for anything. The team from Amsterdam already secured the 36th national title against sc Heerenveen (5-0) last week and can look forward to the duel with the Arnhem team without tension. Vitesse has known for weeks that it has to compete in the play-offs for a European ticket. The Arnhem team have been out of shape for some time and have only won three of the last eight games.

Ten Hag opts for a number of changes against Vitesse. For example, he has made room under the bar for Gorter, who is making his debut in the Eredivisie on behalf of the team from Amsterdam. Regeer and Rensch also have a base place. Just like against AZ, Ten Hag will probably go for a 4-4-2 formation, as Sébastien Haller and Brian Brobbey are both in the base. Rensch most likely forms the center with Daley Blind, while Regeer fills in the right-back position. The midfield is formed by Edson Álvarez, Dusan Tadic, Steven Berghuis and Kenneth Taylor.
