Mohamed Ihattaren recently bought a villa worth more than a million euros in Tilburg, allegedly the residence of his girlfriend, writes story. The attacker, who has been loaned to Sampdoria by Juventus, has been in the news in recent weeks because he has at least temporarily returned to the Netherlands. For weeks Ihattaren was without a trace and unreachable, although he occasionally made himself heard via social media. For example, he is working with a personal trainer in the hopes of getting his career back on track.

The latest news about Ihattaren came out just over a week ago. The footballer is no longer represented by Mino Raiola, but has joined the office of Ali Dursun. From research by story it turned out that the teenager has bought a villa for 1,025,000 euros in Tilburg and that he will also live here. A source told the magazine: “The house is currently being renovated, Mo will be living here in a few weeks.”

The man from whom Ihattaren bought the villa is the much-discussed Tilburg hospitality entrepreneur Danny Kovacevic. According to reports from the Eindhovens Dagblad Kovacevic is under investigation for ‘possible criminal activity’. He does not want to clarify the sale of his villa and the coverage of the regional newspaper: “Don’t call me for this, I find that very irritating.”

Ihattaren himself also does not want questions from story reply. “Why are you calling people in my area? I want you to leave the people around me alone, you don’t have to. You’re just looking for a fuss, I don’t like that. Understood?” Ihattaren got sidetracked at PSV last season and was sold in the summer to Juventus, who moved him to Sampdoria. The nineteen-year-old talent did not get to play in Italy either and suddenly left for the Netherlands.

Ihattaren last played an official game on 24 April: seven minutes into PSV’s 1-0 win over FC Groningen. The attacker’s contract in Turin runs until the summer of 2025. Dursun believes in Ihattaren’s chances of a restart and wants to help him with that. The advocate believes that Ihattaren ‘should do a number of things differently’, but also thinks that the midfielder needs good guidance, he said earlier. Dursun hopes for peace for his client for the time being.
