The arrival of Jesse March to RB Leipzig may lead to one u-turn for Justin Kluivert, so you know Kicker to report. The 22-year-old wing attacker is rented from AS Roma this season. Initially were die Roten Bullen not intending to keep Kluivert, but there may be a place for him in Marsch’s intended system nonetheless.

Kluivert cannot always count on a basic place at RB Leipzig this season. Trainer Julian Nagelsmann normally uses a 3-4-2-1 formation, without wingers. Kluivert was therefore only at the kick-off in 6 of the 24 official matches he played for RB Leipzig. For that reason, the current number two of the Bundesliga initially did not intend to continue with Kluivert. According to Kicker there is no option to purchase in the lease between RB Leipzig and AS Roma.

The arrival of Marsch could mean that RB Leipzig will report to Rome after all to talk about a longer stay for Kluivert. The 47-year-old American coach will succeed Nagelsmann coming to Bayern Munich next summer and usually plays at Red Bull Salzburg in a kind of 4-4-2 system with attacking wingers. Kicker argues that Kluivert would fit in and knows that RB Leipzig must deposit twelve million euros to take him over from AS Roma definitively, despite the fact that there is no option to buy.

Hee-chan Hwang is in the same boat at RB Leipzig: he was initially allowed to look forward to a new club, but now seems to be getting a new chance. However, this does not apply to Alexander Sörloth. RB Leipzig has seen enough of the Norwegian striker after one season. If a bid comes in that is around twenty million euros – the amount that RB Leipzig paid to Crystal Palace a year ago – he can leave. Sörloth scored 6 goals and 3 assists in 35 official games in his first season.
